Queen Máxima of The Netherlands is again in Argentina. On the eve of the G20 leaders' summit, he came to the country to participate in United Nations (UN) activities and then reunited with his colleagues from the exclusive Northlands College.
According to the newspaper Clarin, Máxima landed in Buenos Aires this Wednesday morning. That same evening he went to a special supper in high school since his litter celebrates 30 years of graduates.
Although no further details have been provided about its participation in the G20, it has been confirmed that it will not do as a queen, but as Special Defender of the UN Secretary-General for inclusive development funding.
This Thursday, Máxima plans to take part in Kirchner's cultural center, where she will be with President Maurice Macrim. On this occasion the ruler will discuss economic empowerment of women.
The queen was already part of the recent Women's 20 (W20) Summit, where she urged world leaders to "eliminate gender gaps" and highlight the importance of digital inclusion.
"We are in a critical moment that leaders have committed themselves to invest economically in women, many have been written, but how are we now translating intentions into concrete actions in women's lives?" He asked. In his speech, he mentioned issues that were addressed during the W20, with particular emphasis on financial gaps: "Many women are excluded from this system, 800 million do not even have a bank account. In emerging countries there is a financial gap of USD 1 700 million, "he said.
