Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) will suffer a 14.3 percent increase in Buenos Aires from December 1. The Cubic meter will therefore be from 14 pesos to 16. This way, CNG will increase this year by 65 percent with petrol and diesel.
The increase is related to the increase in the gas price of the wells. This is the biggest increase since 2002. At the beginning of this year, the price of a cubic meter was 9.65 pesos. In Buenos Aires, CNG is 55 percent cheaper than liquid fuels, which is not the difference in the rest of the country.
The highest value is in Santiago del Estero: 23.15 pesos is the price of a cubic meter. Meanwhile, Chubut already has values that will rule in Buenos Aires from next Saturday. Despite growth, the rate of conversion of gasoline vehicles to CNG remains. Year-on-year comparison for October saw an increase of 71.3 percent.
