PlayStation 5 has been reporting for some time now. After Xbox One X and Microsoft announcing Xbox Scarlett, players were looking at Sony to announce the PS5. While we are not getting any notice soon, the PlayStation 5 specifications have leaked online.
Previously, it was said that the PlayStation 5 will use the Ryzen processor and the latest translucence confirms it. Leakage comes from Reddit, who claims the PlayStation 5 console is a 4K / 60 FPS console and a "little monster" console.
According to the escaped PlayStation 5 specifications, the console will feature an 8-core Ryzen processor. Not only does leakage show that developers already have access to PS5 Devs, which is consistent with the previous news that Square Enix is developing the PS5 title.
The 3D graphics manager and 3D character model at Enix have updated their LinkedIn profile, indicating that Square Enix is working on the AAA PS5 title. It is not known whether it will be exclusive or multiplatform.
This is somewhat felt by the fact that Sony really wants to use the Ryzen processor for PlayStation 5. At the beginning of this year, compiler expert Simon Simon Pilgrim has suggested that the PlayStation 5 will include the Ryzen processor.
Pilgrim updated his Linkedin profile and apparently worked on AMD Ryzen's microarchitecture "znver1" in the LLVM compiler. Upgrading LLVM upstream is exclusive for AMD Zen, and Sony has no product in the Ryzen processor market.
We would not be surprised to see the PlayStation 5 using the AMD Ryzen APU because these chips dropped it out of the park in terms of performance.
Since this is just a reputation, take it with the grain of salt. But it is likely that Sony will use AMD Ryzen for the PlayStation 5.
Another reputation that came out earlier this year is that the PS5 will feature the AMD Navi graphics architecture. Not only is the report indicating that Navi is exclusive to PlayStation 5.
While Sony is not announcing the PlayStation 5 or its specifications, the company is already working on PS5.
According to Sony President and CEO Kenichiro Yoshida, "I can say at this point that we need new generation hardware." This suggests that Sony is working on its new gene console.
Players and industry analysts focus on the forthcoming PlayStation 5 and its specifications. But according to legend, Sony has one unnoticed PS4 exclusive.
The report suggests Sony is releasing unannounced PS4 games before revealing PlayStation 5. This means that besides The Last Of Us Part 2, Death Stranding and Ghost Of Tsushima, Sony has another exclusive PS4 title in the works.
While the report suggests that the PS5 will be a 4K console, some devils do not think that 4K / 60 FPS is a necessary standard for PlayStation 5 and another Xbox.
However, since Microsoft has already raised the bar with Xbox One X, it is likely that Xbox Scarlet and PS5 will be both 4K consoles.
