It was 25 years Mrs. Doubtfire adorned the big screen, but still the movie is a favorite fan favorite.
To mark the milestone opportunity, cast hit 1993 comedy, Pierce Brosnan, Lisa Jakub, Matthew Lawrence and Mara Wilson, met in the US Today show to think about the good times they shared with Robin Williams. In the film, the later actor played a divorced who dressed as a female housekeeper named Doubtfire, so his ex-wife Sally Field) would unwittingly spend time with his three children.
"Robin was wearing a make-up trailer, wearing a white shirt, big hairy hands, cargo trousers, big hair but Mrs. Doubtfire's head, it was so bizarre," said Brosnan Williams, 65, who died in 2014.
"Oh, hello, Pierce, you look so cute! Oooh, give us a kiss!" "Brosnan – who played Field's new loving hobby," he said, as he stood for Williams.
But the comedian provided more than just laughs on the set – he also helped out onscreen kids.
"One of the strongest things I have been talking about is that he was very open and honest with me when he talked about his affairs with depression and it was so powerful for me at the age of 14," recalls Jakub, 39. "Fought anxiety all my life."
Meanwhile, Lawrence, 38, said Williams is looking at his wellbeing not only on but off set.
"Robin was … as a leading force," said Lawrence, who was only 13 years old at the time. "As if suddenly he looked at me like a blue look:" By the way, do not do drugs! I really really did my brain seriously, do not do it. "I was glad," OK! "That happened to me."
But it was all fun and games when it was Williams' relationship with Wilson, who was only 6 years old at the time. In fact, it was a funny bitch that a young actress could hardly have a straight face.
"It would be like," OK, take 25! " The 31-year-old Williams genius says. "And Robin would always be different."
This concept was assigned by Field, who played Williams's fed-up woman on the screen. Although the veteran did not attend the reunion that was filmed last month, she remembers film time.
"It was crazy and it was so fun," Field said, 72 years old Project last month. "He had infinite energy and he would like to take his own, because everyone would want to do something else."
