Sony shuts down jet engines.
Two years after its original release, Sony released another updated PlayStation 4 Pro (CUH-7200), which is significantly quieter than the launch model. he ridiculed regularly that it sounded like a jet engine in a heavy load.
Eurogamer's digital foundry work has done a complete work on the latest version and compared it with the launch model and last year's CUH-7100, which was also an improvement.
The only physical change to the console is the new power adapter. The original PS4 Pro used a standard cable that Sony has been using since the PS3 version. The CUH-7200 PS4 Pro uses an eight-bit adapter similar to Xbox One X and PS4 Slim.
Interestingly, the two newer models run a little worse than the original console, but their fans stay much quieter. Still not as quiet as the Xbox One X, but it is less diffused than the loud model of launch.
Currently, it is only available as a component Red Dead Redemption 2 + PS4 Pro package where you need to find the CUH-7216B product code.
