Wednesday afternoon Thursday: Three licensees arrive at Racing Victoria for questioning

Training Darren Weir, assistant coach Jarrod McLean and permanent employee Tyson Kermond all arrived at Racing Victoria headquarters on Thursday afternoon after they were called to face the guards.

The development follows Victoria Police's Wednesday raids on two Weir stables in Warrnambool and Ballarat, seizure of four police officers, unregistered firearms, and cocaine-treated substances.

21:00 Thursday: Weir, McLean and Kermond left Racing Victoria

At about 21:00, three men were seen after the Racing Victoria headquarters had been questioned by the administrators.

20:45 Thursday: Racing Victoria issued the following statement

"This afternoon, race directors Victoria (RV) commenced investigations following yesterday's Victoria Police investigations on land plots in Ballarat and Warrnambool, where three arrested licensed racing entrants were arrested and later released free of charge.

"Licensed coaches Darren Weir and Jarrod McLean and licensed Tyson Kermond visited the RV office where the administrators were interviewed.

"Administrators postponed their question late in the evening to consider the information they have and get legal advice, and more updates are expected tomorrow."
