On Tuesday, chairman of the Werner Amon faction, "from the Koalitionsrson" in the BVT committee of inquiry, dropped critical issues from Interior Minister Herbert Kickl (FP). Yesterday, the pact on non-aggression of power was again. Amon urged Kickla to try the "temporary suspension" of his Secretary-General, Peter Goldgruber.
Background: In mid-summer, Justice Minister Josef Moser (VP) asked Korneuburg's prosecutor to investigate a controversial investigative order for the secret service, including the history that Goldgruber was said to be a key player. Yesterday Moser confirmed in the U-committee that in the meantime a number of announcements have been received, mainly because of a small bankruptcy at the authorities. This also applies to Minister Kickl, Uda Lett, BT Director Petra Gridling, and Ursula Schmudermayer's Corruption Prosecutor.
Because they are obviously suspicious of Goldgruber and Lett, they are guided as suspects. For both, the assumption of innocence applies. Amon reminded that at the beginning of the year after the BVT Kickl raid in a similar situation he cautiously suspended Gridling. For Amona, it would be "incompatible", for example, if the prosecutor had to ask for police assistance in investigating the top official in the leadership of the Interior Ministry. They did not want to comment on Amon's request at the ministry office.
Minister of Justice Moser advocated in committee At the action of the plaintiff Schmudermayer. The High Regional Court (OLG) in Vienna later confirmed that there was a reasonable suspicion of BVT employees. But Moser also accepted "a certain pressure of expectation," which came from the Interior Ministry.
Witnesses from IT experts who could distribute intelligence remotely have been particularly important for the raid, which was also disproportionate in the Higher Regional Court. Claims that later turned out to be bad. Schmudermayer, who had already met in the third session of the BVT Committee, has often avoided statements because she was being investigated for misuse of power and false evidence.
