Weekly higher wage strike at Audi in Hungary ended after agreement. Audi Hungary and AHFSZ have reached an agreement, the carmaker announced yesterday. The details were not mentioned. The production in the Győr plant in the west of the country has resumed.
AHFSZ called workers on Wednesday for a weekly strike last week. Initially, it required a wage increase of 18 percent. The hearing began in September, but originally led to no results.
VW Audi's subsidiary employs around 13,000 people at the Győr engine plant. AHFSZ claims it has about 9,000 members.
