During the summer of 2018, Les Moonves, Chairman and CEO of CBS, was fired for alleged sexual abuse. She came as a shock to her wife, Julia Chen, who hosted two network shows: Interview and Big Brother. But when the Moonves were expelled from CBS, all eyes were on Chen and her two shows. But what does the future look like for the host?
Chen and Moonves have been married since 2004
Chen and Moonves are not married to foreigners – the couple have been for nearly 15 years. In fact, the couple announced their marriage only weeks after Moonves divorced his first wife, Nancy Moonves, with three adult children. Moonves and Chen have one child together and marriage has not always been easy. But Chen gives good communication for maintaining a strong relationship between them. She said in the interview that these two are fighting at times – they maintain good communication and, if they say, they never achieve self-confidence.
Moon's sexual assassinations have caused Chen to get some time out of his " The Talk & # 39;
In 2018, Moonves became the center of sexual accusations. Six women have since accused the Moonves of sexual assault and the charges date back to the eighties. It will be the marriage couple's marriage test. And when it was announced that Moonves had left CBS, Chen had to rethink some of his career. She pulled away for a while Interview to be with her family, and soon afterwards she announced she would leave the show, but not before she made a statement about her husband. Chen said on Twitter that he has always been a good person, and he fully supports and stands behind him. She repeated it in an episode of a talk show.
Now Chen said he would return to "Big Brother" but would still hold the husband's side
When Chen announced he was leaving Interview, some supposed they were leaving Big Brother it was not too far. After all, it could not be annoying to work for the network your husband had to resign in such circumstances. On November 27, however, Chen went to Instagram to announce he would return to the celebrity host. But it does not seem like her marriage to Moonves will be anywhere soon.
Despite the return, it's still hard to tell where Chen's future is in the network
Whether Chen pulls out after this season, it has to be decided. The fans were extreme when they saw that they would return to the show, as was said by Instagram commentary on the photo. Most may think the show would not be the same without her. But Chen signed up last season with the words: "I'm Julie Chen Moonves, Goodnight," which was the first time she used her in her married name in the air, and said she would stand beside her husband, no matter what. As she enters the next season, her husband seems to have priority over her career. Whether she returns to being unclear after this time, as she has been able to figure out again the dynamics for CBS after her husband leaves.
