FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – The 4.5 km earthquake hit about 16 kilometers southwest of St. John, B.C.
Earthquake Canada says it felt in Fort St John, Taylor, Chetwynd and Dawson Creek.
They say there are no reports of damage.
Residents say social media felt trembling around Monday.
One Twitter user at Fort St. John says she felt "the whole block of flats shakes as if the top floor fell."
The Taylor Public Library on Twitter says employees felt "hungry".
