Largest food bank in Newfoundland and Labrador, which, after a fire on Wednesday morning, lost most of the food in the main warehouse.
For example, Walters, CEO of the Food Sharing Community Association, told CBC News that he was destroyed to see large supplies destroyed by smoke and water.
It is not yet clear how much food was destroyed.
The Association serves as the central venue for the donation and supply of food banks throughout the province.
"We all know our boys are safe and there are no injuries," Walters said on Wednesday morning at CBC News. He later confirmed the fire, and the subsequent efforts to fight the flames empty most of the warehouses.

Regional Fire Brigade of St. Jana appeared on stage just after 9:30 am Wednesday in the warehouse on Topsail Road.
The traffic was off for about an hour on all four streets of Topsail Road. Some fire crews pulled back and left around 10:30, while Newfoundland Power and Royal Newfoundland Constabulary stayed on the scene.
Efforts to obtain donations for the association began before the fire service even left the warehouse.
While the building is closed, MP Seamus O'Regan said his employees would collect donations at their nearest polling station at Topsail Road.
This morning, the fire in the Community's Food Sharing Association is a devastating message. In response, my office at 689 Topsail Road will collect and store non-perishable food until new space is found.

Walters said he was devastated by fire, but said that the long way to the overwhelming had already begun.
