MOSCOW – The Russian Space Agency says its experts are trying to solve the problems that block the control of the circulating radio telescope.
The Spektr-R satellite continues to transmit signals but scientists have been unable to control the satellite since Friday.
The satellite was launched in 2011 and exceeded its initial expected life of approximately three years. It is used to study radio resources inside and outside the Earth's galaxy.
Roscosmos, the Russian space agency official, Alexander Bloshenko, said on Saturday that another attempt to introduce satellite control would take place Sunday.
