The Minister of Health said that the reported cases of dengue are linked to epidemiological files. There was only one minor in the hospital in the sector he visited.
Health Minister Roque Mascarello supervised the hospital in Tartagal, Juan Domingo Perón. The clerk noticed the operation of the febrile room, where at that time there was only one smaller patient who was admitted on Sunday evening with a suspected diagnosis of gastroenterotherapy. The baby is stable and waiting for laboratory results.
As reported by the province, during the weekend only two hospitalizations were registered due to febrile syndrome, both were released.
207 patients with febrile syndrome were reported in April, 37 of whom were hospitalized.
Mascarello has verified the supply of drugs for the treatment of febrile syndromes. The hospital pharmacy has ibuprofen, paracetamol and insect repellents. "This provision is uninterrupted, we never had a loophole, the last weekend we received 12,000 doses added to 14,340 paracetamol cases and 11,300 ibuprofen cases sent by the Ministry of Health over the past 6 months," explained José Fernández, responsible for Tartagal Hospital.
The Minister of Health said that the Tartagal operating area is working with all the necessary means to address this situation. He also says that during a period of intense surveillance of febrile cases, the strengthening of weekend guards is with doctors sent from Salta.
