More lives than a cat: a story behind a man who died nine times the Society

Nine times, nineteen times a 29-year-old man died. Something that might think at first glance is a story about fiction, it's absolutely real, and it happened to Jamie Poole, who suffers from a complicated illness.

Jamie suffers hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, a disease that causes the heart to grow more than normal, causing serious heart problems. He had to fight for almost 30 years, because he had to live with uncertainty all his life that he could suffer another heart disease at any time.

According to British Daily Mail, he suffered the first illness when he was 20 years old. It took him 40 minutes to revive him when he did, stay in the coma for a week, and after awakening he explained everything that had happened.

The second time it happened in his cousin's house. Then he's in London, suffered four attacks in less than three weeks, and so on, until you reach the ninth. In all of the results, they were the same after a few minutes of dead, again responding.

Because of these unpredictable heart attacks, Jamie today has an electronic device called ICD inside the body that can automatically restore his heart when he stops. Of course, it's not the only care he has, because he should not do any physical exercise to avoid the attacks.

Regarding the disease, Edgardo Sepulveda, a cardiologist at the Las Condes clinic, explains that "It occurs between 20 and 40 years, but if it is a family history of a medical condition, it can be detected and treated in time to avoid complications."

On the other hand Poole assured the English media that due to his "death" he could see that he was outside his body, even though he saw a "tunnel across borders": "The pleasure I would give to someone when I had my experiences is definitely just enjoying the little things in my life, I do not take them for granted and appreciate those moments"he closed that young man who, for the time being, if he wishes to follow appropriate treatments, should not be more complicated or at least what he expects.
