It may surprise you, but AMD has been around for 50 years. The company was founded in 1969, just one year later after Gordon Moore and Robert Noyce set up the germ of an eternal rival in the form of today's Intel. On this occasion, AMD prepared a special processor edition Ryzen 7 2700X 50th Anniversary Edition. It is unique both by the packaging itself and by the modified heat distributor (IHS), where you can also find Lisa Su's signature, the current head of the company.
The pack also includes two full games: Tom Clancy's Division 2 Gold Edition and the all-new Word War Z market. Earlier speculation about higher processor clocks did not come true, but the price should be almost the same as for a normal edition.
The good news is that the gift of the two mentioned games will get customers to the regular chips and graphics that are already on the market. This will also apply to cheaper models, starting with Ryzen 5 2400G and Radeon RX 570 4GB graphics cards. The action is supposed to apply today and should be worldwide.
