Central Bohemia – The patients have been slightly added, but they are not dramatic. This is suggested by Friday's calculations of Central Bohemian hygienists monitoring the incidence of acute respiratory infections, including flu. The number of doctors reported that in the past week – 45th – total sickness in the region increased by 4.2% compared to the previous week and reached 986 diseases per hundred thousand inhabitants.

The highest was in Pribram, the lowest in Nymburk. Traditionally, most of the sick are among preschoolers – in the age group of up to five years, Lilian Rumlová, director of anti-epidemic regional hygiene department, reminded on Friday. The most significant increase was, however, recorded among youth.
The number of illnesses with a clinical picture of influenza has not changed in comparison with the past two weeks: morbidity still reaches six cases per hundred thousand inhabitants, representing 0.6 percent of total morbidity.
However, despite typical symptoms, laboratory research has shown that the actual flu has not yet arrived. "The influenza virus has not been captured in the samples of biological material from the sampling," Ruml confirmed.
