The VAR system was officially decided in the African Nations Cup for the first time since the new release quarterfinal in Egypt.
CAF's panel chairman Hassan Vabiri said that the VAR system will be implemented from the quarter-finals of this year, which will be attended by 24 teams and will be held in Egypt from 21 June to 19 July.
Fabier noted that the CAF decided after consulting the International Football Federation (FIFA).
The Referees' Group, which will manage this year's African Championship, has undergone extensive training on the application of the VAR system.
The 2018 World Cup in Russia saw the application of the system for the first time in the World Cup and the European Union used the same technique in competitions such as the African Champions League.
