Protesters imprisoned in a gallery in the center of Athens – Newsbeast

After several hours of consultations, a group of protesters trapped in Stoa Fexi in central Athens left without further tension.

According to the information, several dozen people came out in Patission with a banner stating that they were students and wantedto protest the anniversary of the assassination of Alexander Grigoropoulos. They made a short march to contribute to the Stadium, when the MAT men also blocked their path.

Protesters began targeting the polytechnic when police began chasing them. They then found refuge in an apartment building in Stoa Fexi, where they remained imprisoned.

After consultations with the police, the MAT forces withdrew and the assembled persons left the apartment building.

It is currently unknown what it will do after leaving office.
