Have you switched from the headphone jack?

Before Apple came to announce the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus, there were plenty of quizzes that the company planned to pull out a 3.5mm headphone jack. These rumors were so frequent that, in fact, before the change was officially official, people took it as a gospel. "This is what Apple will do". It is not unheard of at all, but certainly it should be exacerbated when it turned out to be true.

Of course, it did not happen, and we saw lots of descriptions of how Apple's decision was hostile. I never approached this mood, mostly because Apple contained an adapter in the box (life dongle!), But also included a few lightning headphones. So if you wanted to have a cable experience, there were two options in the box.

However! I understand frustration by losing something like a headphone jack, which has been such a standard choice for so long.

That was 2016 and we saw a lot of devices that were released without a headphone jack. Samsung is holding her as well as LG. But we have seen Motorola, Google, and even OnePlus have decided to dig the harbor entirely for various reasons. And it's a bit funny that many companies indirectly point their finger at Apple here, says the market has shifted to wireless technology and now is the "right time" and what not.

So here we are in 2018 and Apple does not include a dongle in a box with iPhone XS / XS Max or iPhone XR and that apparently people have in hand over and over again. But I think the other companies are right at this point. I understand many wireless headphones there, especially Apple AirPods. So maybe it's okay to say goodbye to the headphone jack.

Maybe I'm out there. I was looking forward to the day I did not have to use my headphones. I have tried a number of different wireless headphones over the years, finally settling down with AirPods, and besides paying attention to the battery of another device, I definitely do not like any wires.

What are your thoughts on this matter when we approached the year 2019 and perhaps better wireless technology for our headphones? Have you switched from the headphone jack and, if so, what wireless headphones do you use these days? Or is there a cable connection for you? Let me know!
