Seeds brighter after the League of Nations

Germany will have second place in Euro 2020 after the end of the evening in the UEFA League.

The Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland are expected to be third seed.

In the draw, the four teams in the League of Nations, Netherlands, England, Switzerland and Portugal will be placed in a separate pot and included in the A-D groups with only five teams.

The rest of the teams will have six teams with the team from each pot. Ireland could get a playoff if it does not get automatically but depends on the number of Pot 4 and Pot 5 teams. The top two in each group are heading to the main tournament.

The play-off formula is a semi-finals and finals unlike previous two-legged games

Draw is on Sunday 2 December in Dublin.
