"Such rapid growth, germination and growth of teeth, maturation of internal organs and the formation of the immune system require sufficient amounts of vitamin D, calcium and trace elements such as magnesium and zinc, which are essential for calcium absorption. the body (bone and blood) is very high – about 2%, body weight, ie 1-1.5 kg, and without vitamin D, the body can not absorb calcium, so the amount of calcium that absorbs bones depends not only on food ingredients, also for the amount of vitamin D in the body, "says J. Barzdenytė.

Lime needs four times more

According to the survey, nearly one fifth of parents believe that a child aged 1-3 needs calcium as well as adults and only 2.8 percent. He thinks that this element for a small child needs four times as much – just as it really is.

According to the pediatrician, calcium is needed not only for bones or teeth – it is simply irreplaceable for the vital functions of the child's body. Lack of calcium can be a cause of not serious illness because calcium regulates heart rate, contributes to blood coagulation, reduces irritability of the nervous system. This element is also an integral part of bone, teeth, hair, nails and blood. It is necessary for the activity of nerves, circulatory and cardiac systems metabolism. Calcium regulates muscle contraction and is also associated with allergic reactions in the body.

J. Barzdenytė points out that newborns need 400 mg of calcium daily for half a year and 600 mg of calcium daily for children under five. We need to have the right infant nutrition to make sure the baby has the right calcium content.

According to a doctor, he has a lot of calcium in dairy products. For example, half a glass of yogurt without additives has 207 mg of calcium, one cheese slice of about 112 mg, a quarter glass of spinach – about 60 mg, and a slice of all parts of the bread grain – about 24 mg of this valuable substance. Cheeses are also good for cheese, but avoid fresh curd or yoghurt, which is in fact the source of not only many useful ingredients but also sweetness. Recommended bertoletia, almonds, sesame seeds, as well as legumes – white and red beans, chicken peas. Different products are included in the children's menu according to the age of the child. Healthy nuts can be too hard for the baby unless all the teeth have increased – the baby can suffocate. Vitamin D helps absorb calcium
