Yes, you can reduce the cost of light: CFE

Mexico City /

From the market point of view, there are all incentives to reduce the cost of the system and transfer it to end-users; however, will depend on the regulator, the Energy Regulatory Commission (CRE), to ensure that these benefits are socialized, CFE CEO Katya Somohano said.

"Investments that have been made over the years to build a natural gas supply infrastructure from southern Texas will have a major impact on the energy production matrix … that will deliver greater cost-effectiveness."

He said that once all electrical projects were put into operation, the system's price could be reduced by 25 to 30 percent; above because it all determines the final energy costs for consumers and it is estimated to be the next 24 months.
