ghostly Fantastic Masks: The reality-music competition was restored for season 2, Fox Wednesday announced.
So far, there is no question of returning for the second season the exhibition panel – which consists of Robin Thicke, Ken Jeong, Jenny McCarthy and Nicole Scherzinger – and host Nick Cannon.
Masked singer debuted by up to 9.4 million viewers total and demo rating 3.0, the highest rated TV show in seven years (since Fox X Factor) and the best Fox series Empire; these numbers increased to 13 miles and 4.2 with DVR playback – a record-breaking gain for any reality. The current competition averages 7.6 million and 2.5 (live + same day) over its first four broadcasts.
Meanwhile, in season 1 in high-end competition, NFL player Antonio Brown (costume designer Hippo), an actor / marijuana enthusiast Tommy Chong (who wore Pineapple costume) Fox NFL Sunday co-host Terry Bradshaw (who wore deer costume) and comedy Margaret Cho (who wore a Poodle costume).
Masked singer continues this night at 9 / 8c, with Rabbit, Alien, Unicorn and Lev. The two-hour final season will be held on Wednesday 27 February at 8/7.
