DAVAO CITY – The Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) and the Department of Education (DepEd) have come up with a five-year plan to develop sport to begin cooperation in strengthening the country's sports program.

The plan for the plan was completed after two days of strategic planning involving nearly 60 officials from both government agencies.

The plan focused on basic sports, managing and managing agencies, building human resources capacities, infrastructure and facilities, cooperation and linkages at local and international level and R & D.

PSC Chairman Butch Ramirez and DepEd Assistant Secretary Revse Escobedo underlined the importance of these topics in order to achieve their mission of having a formal physical education and sport program among young people, more effective management with competent leaders in both agencies, and training programs for trainers and trainers and standardized sports facilities .

"It will not be smooth and fast cruises, but in addressing these areas we will have a clearer direction for our national sports development program," Ramirez said.

Ramirez added that the program focuses not only on strengthening the talent-matching program in the country but also helps modernize sport education between coaches and coaches across the country.
