The Warsaw Appellate Court has dismissed the Warsaw capital's appeal against the District Court's decision on the legality of March's independence. – We recognize this decision – the Mayor of Warsaw, Hanna Gronkiewicz-Waltz, wrote.
On Thursday, the Warsaw District Court lifted the ban on organizing an independent March. Hanna Gronkiewicz-Waltz has decided not to organize a Marshal of Independence in the streets of Warsaw, which justifies her decision safely.
The City Hall filed a complaint against this decision, but the Warsaw Court of Appeal declined it. "Prohibition can not be based only on assumptions and speculation" – stated in the justification.
The court's decision was commented on Twitter by the mayor of Warsaw Hanna Gronkiewicz-Waltz.
"It was our duty of the Warsaw authorities to draw attention to any doubt as to whether the people would be guaranteed security on November 11. The court ruled that we are now aware of this decision, now fully responsible for marching with the rulers," she wrote.
