Blood pressure monitoring is a simple and effective procedure for detecting hypertension. High blood pressure represents 40% stroke, 80% stroke and 25% end-stage renal failure. Diseases that can be avoided until hypertensive people know their condition remain in treatment and under controlled pressure.
The blood glucose test is done with a drop of blood taken from the fingertips that accurately determines the glucose level.
This procedure is important for the identification of diabetes – a chronic disease in which the body does not produce insulin or cannot properly use the insulin it produces. According to the Brazilian company Diabetes, the disease affects more than 13 million Brazilians.
