Possible reason why iPhone XR production has declined
Jun Zhang of Rosenblatt has reported news that Apple has lowered the iPhone XR smartphone production. He warned about further reductions in production and potential supply problems.
Originally it was said that iPhone XR will be Apple smartphone in 2018 and will be selling well. Initial reports even claimed they have outperformed iPhone 8 in terms of the number of pre-programs.
A recent report, however, showed that Apple has canceled the intensification of this smartphone's production, which has led to speculation that the iPhone XR does not have to sell, as some have thought.
It remains clear whether this speculation is true or not. But according to the Apple 3.0 report quoted by analyst Jun Zhang of Rosenblatt, the decline in smartphone production could be due to quality problems with printed circuit boards, which is why Apple has canceled the increase in smartphone production until the problem is solved.
According to Jun Zhang, "We believe that some supplies of printed circuits have dropped rapidly this week, and this could be attributed to Skyworks quality issues." We believe that this reduction in Apple's iPhone XR production could be attributed to the recently discovered quality issues.
However, you should note that I have not met any complaints about the big problems with the iPhone XR product quality, even though the printed circuits are very important in our electronics.
Perhaps there is no problem and circuits simply do not go to Apple's standards. As the company no longer announces how many smartphones it sells, we assume that we will never know how well the iPhone XR is selling.
