Samsung Folding Galaxy X is not yet released, but the South Korean manufacturer has received a patent design for the folding gaming phone this 2017. This shows that the tech giant wants to challenge the Android gaming market.
The idea of South Korea combines the two most serious events in the area of mobile devices, folding phones and game phones such as Razer.
At the end of 2017, Samsung Display submitted a design patent to the USPTO (US Patent and Trademark Office) for "imaging devices". The patent was released on January 29, 2019 and includes a series of images of Samsung's folding smartphone.
Such mobile phones include features such as a custom processor, a special cooling system, and perhaps a specialized gamepad that has the optimal gaming experience. Here are some details about Samsung's mobile gaming phone.
When the phone is folded, the screen is on the outside. However, if the device is folded, a small part of the screen may be pushed back, which could cause the game buttons to appear. Next, you can see that the D-pad is located to the left while the six small buttons are visible on the right.
Images appeared on the LetsGoDigital blog based on the recently published patent documentation. It is not yet clear when this new device will be released and, of course, the public expects the Galaxy Fold to arrive on February 20th as part of the Samsung Unpacked 2019 event. It should be seen whether these design proposals will be transposed or not on a real phone.
