In 2018, the streaming service continued to fill its content within weeks. This trend will not change in 2019 as Netflix will host or even produce fiction from the famous licenses. So after the Neon Genesis Evangelion, it's Cowboy Bebop's turn to the ground.
Cowboy Bebop will really come back through a remake in the form of a live series. There will be 10 episodes that will feature the Bounty Hunter crew aboard the Bebop. This Japanese series has become a culture over the years, and they may be afraid to see real actors rather than animated characters. In particular, Death Note, Fullmetal Alchemist or Ghost in the Shell who received the same treatment, the fans were much criticized.
The team of Hollywood and Japanese screenwriters are already on the bridge
The series will be written together by Andre Nemce and Josh Appelbaum, who have been observed for work on the Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol project. They will not be themselves as writers Jeff Pinkner (Fringe) and Scott Rosenberg (Venom) are also involved in the project. Japanese team Yasuo Miyakawa, Masayuki Ozaki and Shin Sasaki from the Sunrise animation studio will also lend a hand.
For the time being, Netflix has not released the release for this live-action remake of Cowboy Bebop.
