GOOGLE: The Office for the Protection of Competition will ask for clarification of the rules for advertising

The Office for the Protection of Competition orders Google emergency measures. Requires an internet advertising king to quickly clarify the rules of its Google Advertising Ad Services for electronic information services based on fees in order to be more accurate and comprehensible and to ensure that they are applied on non-discriminatory terms.

Amadeus, which offers the 118 001 telephone information service, has accused Google of suspending several advertising service accounts since January 2018, and then declined most of the ads it wanted to broadcast to promote its services.

As far as file investigation is concerned, the Office believes that Google's Amadeus practices are likely to characterize the sudden disruption of business relationships under conditions that are neither objective nor transparent. It also considers that such practices may be considered an abuse of a dominant position if they are discriminatory
