President Sall wants state agents to travel on board Air Senegal



DAKAR, January 31 (APS) – The President of the Republic, Macky Sall, has invited state prosecutors to demonstrate patriotism while traveling through the national airline Air Senegal.

"I urge the relevant departments of our administration, in particular the General Secretariat of the Government, whenever possible, to ensure that state agents travel through our national society," he said. on the occasion of the ceremonial reception of the first Airbus "A330-900 neo" of the national airline Air Senegal.

"A well-organized charity begins with itself and emerges in a patriotic spirit," the President added.

Air Sénégal currently serves a dozen regional destinations in 9 African countries, with two A319 and two ATR 72-600.

The first airline Airbus "A330 neo", which was acquired by the national airline Air Senegal, was presented to the main state of Mack Sall, during the official ceremony at the presidential pavilion of Blaise Diagne International Airport (AIBD)

The new Air Senegal A330-900 national airliner, entitled "Casamance" and registered 9H-SZN (Malta) landed shortly after 13:30 in AIBD.

Air Senegal will be launched in Africa by "A330 neo" but on February 1, it will not be able to use it to open a new Dakar-Blaise Diagne-Paris-Charles de Gaulle connection. The A330 will be lent for this service.

Macky Sall says he has asked the government to "quickly work on renewing and certifying international standards at Cap-Skirring Airport, until the Ziguinchor Airport is completely refurbished and Sodiy and Kolda are modernized."
