Even a small amount can hurt.
The harmful effect of excessive consumption of fried foods has been written and researched for years and there is much evidence of its harmfulness. Daily consumption of these foods leads to a higher risk of developing diabetes, heart disease and obesity.
Some may think that if they eat small amounts of food every day, they can not hurt them. However, scientists have found that even a small amount can lead to premature deaths caused by cardiovascular problems.
Researchers from the University of Iowa and Washington published a study in the BMJ Medical Journal, in which they examined the fact that daily consumption of fried foods affects women in postmenopausal women.
The survey was conducted on 100,000 women aged 50-79. These women were included in the research from 1993 to 1998, with 31 588 women dead. Of these, 9,000 died from heart disease, 8,000 from cancer.
The researchers evaluated how much fried foods, such as fried chicken, fish and potatoes, were used in their diet.
By comparing the lifestyle of these women and their eating habits, she found that daily consumption of fried foods leads to premature death.
If you eat one or more portions of fried chickens every day, this will result in an increased risk of premature death from any cause by 13% and an increased risk of death for cardiovascular disease by 12%.
No fried fish is no better option. This means that if you drive daily fried fish, you will have, for whatever reason, a seven percent chance of premature death and 13 percent more than deaths due to heart problems.
