The modern car has more and more techniques to help the driver. One of these embossments enters the car and triggers the engine without a physical key (Keyless Technology). But how many such elegant solutions make it easier for owners to live, can soothe them.

We have already written about the theft of a modern car in the United Kingdom, where thieves can use a heu device to drive a truck in less than 20 seconds. And all without physical damage.

The procedure is simple and is more about copying the signal coming from the key card. Because they are usually near the front door, it is enough to land their thieves to capture the signal. The signal acquisition device can be legally purchased and costs about 100 euros.

For this reason, the number of thefts in Britain has jumped incredibly. Even 100,000 vehicles were stolen in 2017, an increase of up to 56 percent over the previous year.

German Automobile Club, ADAC recently tested up to 237 cars and three motorcycles which have the ability to unlock and run the engine without a key. There were more than 30 brands like Audi, Mercedes, BMW, Honda, Hyundai, Kia, Peugeot, Renault, Škoda and Volvo.

Result: only three models passed the test, while the four "thieves" encountered the problem.

Some of the best-selling Jaguar Lend Rover models – "jaguar i-pace", "Land Rover Discovery" and "Range Rover" – were best shown. Thanks to the technology that uses the ultra-frequency signal, cars remain intact.

The "infiniti Q30" failed to enter, but the engine was running, while the Mazde 2, the Volvo XC60 T5 and the BMW i3 respectively.

Everyone else was "stolen"!

Otherwise, the wagon that is so started can be driven until it first goes out. So stolen vehicle thieves usually go abroad to reprogram and get a new card.

ADAC's recommendation is that it would be best to exclude this feature. Packaging in aluminum foil or insertion into a metal box did not prove to be a theft remedy.

It would not be bad to hold a key card from the front door, especially if you live in the house.
