Star of World Championship title seizures have come face-to-face yesterday in Manila in the Philippines.
One world heavyweight champion Brandon "The Truth" Vera leans with Maur "The Hammer" Cerilli and Eduard "The Landslide" Folayang has met Amir Khan in Singapore before his match for an empty ONE lightweight world title.
Athletes clashed in an open practice at Victoria Sports Tower in Quezon City ahead of major and parallel competitions on Friday at the Mall of Asia Arena.
Folayang and Amir found themselves in the battle for best honors in probably ONE's toughest division after Martin "The Situ-Asian" Nguyen left his belt in September due to injuries.
"I'm so happy to fight again in Manila, it's the second time I fought four years ago," Amir said.
"I have a lot of respect for Folayang, he's a great fighter, but I'm coming for the title. At the beginning of my career, I worked very hard on my game and I'm 100% certain to become a world champion.
"It is probable that I am facing a chance. I'm fighting a hero in my hometown, but I will not let it affect my performance."
