Former police president Tibor Gašpar filed a criminal complaint for suspicion of abusing the powers of a public official.
The reason is to be the way to obtain and provide information from the investigative team in the case of the murder of journalist Jan Kuciak and his fiancé Martina Kušnírová. This is the portal Joj Noviny.sk.
"I file a criminal complaint, which I personally qualified as a notifier, for suspicion of misuse of the authority of a public official, or for suspicion of committing a crime of dishonesty and others," Gašpar said in a televised interview for TV Joj.
He suspects television, according to Gašpar, how they get and provide information from the investigative team. "I think there are a number of contradictions to the Code of Criminal Procedure, and this leads me to damage the investigation itself, but also to specific individuals, so I'm making a criminal complaint against those who act like that," he said, someone might want to cripple the murder investigation or even manipulate it.
