Too much energy is a challenge facing the whole world. Experts are constantly looking for solutions to save energy. This effort is also reflected in the design of modern living, because lower energy consumption is welcomed not only by the cost-saving effect on the family budget, but it is an important mosaic in nature conservation for future generations. The project is also an almost zero MultiComfort energy unit resulting from the development of two innovative and sustainable companies, the Slovenian company Lumar and the multinational Saint-Gobain, and stands in Jesenice.
Participation of domestic and foreign knowledge
At the invitation of the multinational company Saint-Gobain, Lumar, renowned for its advanced prefabricated houses, has developed a special construction system for details on the construction of the MultiComfort-based house, and Saint-Gobain has contributed innovative solutions and guidelines. Built on the MultiComfort concept, the house puts a holistic and holistic approach to addressing key aspects of living comfort – from sound, air, daylight, temperature to energy efficiency. The first such house built according to the MultiComfort concept was introduced to the Slovenian public in Jesenice a few days ago.

Demo house in Jesenice
The beginning of cooperation between companies is the first MultiComfort demo, which was built in Jesenice. It is a near zero energy house Lumar Primus-D 150 with 150 m2 of living space reflecting the philosophy of the MultiComfort standards. The MultiComfort concept is an advanced and holistic approach to addressing key aspects of living comfort – from sound, air, daylight and temperature. Some Saint-Gobain solutions have also been used under construction. Isover insulation made of glass wool with high thermal insulation, based on natural binders and 80% recycled glass, was used for insulation and an intelligent vapor barrier to prevent wetting of the timber structure in winter and its rapid drying in summer. The rooms were separated using Rigips for plasterboard, which, among other things, allows the fixing of stationary wall loads without inserts, and up to 13 dB increases the sound protection of the partition walls. Rigips also reduce harmful formaldehyde as the largest indoor pollutant.

For the façade was used Webrov thin-layer façade system with Isover glass fiber insulation, with high vapor permeability and thermal insulation, with thin-walled facade plaster surface treatment, which reduces the possibility of dirt absorption by means of intelligent redistribution on the moisture moisture surface, including special finishing techniques of weberdesign glitter).
The house is also clever because it contains sensors that monitor other housing parameters, such as carbon dioxide and relative humidity, which also talk about the quality of living in the house. At the same time, the use of energy is monitored and the analysis of all results will serve to develop products in the future.
