The project is aimed at children with fathers who are in jail. Dad can read a fairy tale on a disc or a USB stick. This is then sent to the children along with the book so that the children can watch at the same time.
Studies show that The children of parents who are in prison often risk getting there. The project was designed for preventive purposes, with the hope of creating safer education for children. The aim of the project is to create stronger links between children and their parents, while helping to develop children's languages.
"Good nights from within" have a big impact on many fathers when they get a chance to release the macho culture during the meeting. It also helps many of them get a better and closer relationship with their children.
The project works like study circle where you meet once a week for six weeks. Dad has the opportunity to practice their reading while giving practical advice on how to develop their reading.
