United Arab Emirates will present a map of industrial facilities and a national electronic system

ABU DHABI – The Department of Climate Change and the Environment in the UAE has announced the launch of a national e-system to improve environmental performance and a map of industrial facilities in the United Arab Emirates.

"A map of industrial facilities at the state level is a space information platform focused on providing information on the locations of industrial facilities in each emirate," said Aisha Mohammed Al Abdooli, Director of the Department of Green Development Departments.

Al Abdooli pointed out that there are more than 7,000 industrial facilities in different emirates, pointing out that the map provides information on the scale of industrial facilities after nature reserves, forest strips and residential complexes.

She explained that the map of industrial facilities can be obtained at the state level on the website of the Ministry for Climate Change and the Environment.

It stressed that the national electronic system for enhancing environmental impact aims to modernize the initiative in a modern and clever way by creating a national system linking the parties to ensure the provision of the necessary information in the decision-making process and, in addition, to the new one.

She said the Environmental Impact Initiative aims to improve the UAE's Global Competitiveness Index, in line with the goals of the UAE in 2071, to make the UAE one of the best countries in the world in all sectors to reach the vision of SAE 2021.

It should be noted that the national electronic system includes pages on consultancy companies, industrial facilities, environmental impact assessment studies and current and future environmental legislation at the national level.
