Tug Commander Tug Yana Kapu, Oleg Melnichuk, a ruler in a Russian-controlled court, used his right to foreign-language translators, said his lawyer Edem Smedlyaev.

This human rights activist launched 112 in Ukraine.

"He (Melnichuk – ed.) He used the right to an interpreter, said he did not fully understand, and he was provided with a translator from Russian to Ukrainian and Ukrainian to Russian business and ready to defend his innocence anywhere, including courts," Smedlyaev said.

On 27 November, the seafarer began a lawsuit to opt for precautionary measures – 15 out of 24 captured Ukrainian soldiers were arrested for two months. The Russian side accuses them of "illegally crossing the border of Russia with a group of people after a prior settlement," for which it faces up to six years in prison. At the same time, the official Kiev considered as prisoners of war.
