The Birks Group, one of Canada's oldest jewelery stores, has begun to accept Bitcoin. This is stated on the company's blog.
A new payment option has emerged thanks to the Birks partnership with the largest BitPay BitPay processing in the US. Currently, BTC purchases are available in 8 out of 26 stores in Canada.
According to Birks, users can buy products from brands such as Rolex, Bulgari, Cartier and Breitling for Bitcoin. In the near future, Graff and Patek Philippe, available at the newly opened Vancouver stores, are added to this list.
"Reaching Bitcoin will help Birks meet the requirements of rich foreign customers and attract new customers"– said BitPay sales manager Sonny Singh.
Let's recall, long before Birks Group began to accept Bitcoin for payment, the largest internet shop for precious metals APMEX.
