In a surprising move, Pokmon Go released three legendary creatures into the wild – the first for the game.
Until now, all the legendary beasties debuted through top raids. But today, Sinnoh's legendary Lake Trio – Azelf, Mesprit, Uxie – has been released into the wild, leaving fans stunned.
So far, players have only reported each beast in one of the three main areas of the game. Azelf was found in the Americas, Mesprit in Europe and Uxia in Asia-Pacific.
It seems that the trio, by its nature, only breeds around water bodies. If you're a nerd like me, a fan-based OSM mapping tool is already available to help you locate where you are.
But even if the spawn of every creature appears incredibly rare (I think: Known rare). Watch your radar for one of these silhouettes:

Both forms of unreleased Sinnoh Pokmon Shellos were also available before today – but only for a short window of time. Niantic has not yet commented on it – it seems to be a mistake.
The Trio was the main candidate in the summer for three major Go Go festivals, Pokmon Go, held in Chicago, Dortmund, Germany, and a site announced in Asia. Maybe it's the way to release the trio first, which doesn't require participation in the event? Or maybe something else (eg Another Mythical Pokmon set for release, Jirachi)?
Either way, it's a real surprise for the three to be released this way. Good luck to the hunters.
