HTC Corporation, a Taiwanese smartphone maker, plans to release a new version of its Exodus-coded smartphone before the end of 2019.
The project is part of the company's efforts to increase smartphone sales while continuing to expand the blockchain ecosystem. Last year, the company launched the first blockchain smartphone called Exodus. This, in addition to the high-end specifications and transparent back cover, was a purse of crypto-currencies that housed the "secure enclaves" separate from the operating system.
Regarding the new generation of Exodus, Director of Decentralized HTC, Phil Chen, said that in addition to supporting the management of crypto currencies and related transactions and personalized electronic generations of the previous generation, the new phone will expand its applications to include other areas such as navigation, news and social networks.
These new communication block applications will be based on peer-to-peer rather than cloud-like as in the previous generation.
On the other hand, the director of decentralized HTC said the number of Exodus sales met the company's expectations, so it makes sense to restore the range. He also said that in addition to Bitcoin and Ethereum users, HTC Exodus is generating some demand from new startups related to crypto currency transactions, so this new version may be more company-oriented. users
Chen also talked about the success of centralized consumer applications such as the Uber taxis and the Airbnb booking server, which creates a model for the emerging block sector and decentralized technology.
