The publication of an alleged photograph of the body of Argentinian football player Emilian Sala, who died last January in a plane crash over the Channel, is being investigated by Dorset Police (England).

"We are aware that the image presented as Sala's body has been shared on social networks and we are outraged that someone has done it," said Dorset police spokesman.

The police said they would still find out who was responsible for the incident and described the behavior as "very shameful".

Sala, 28, disappeared last January when he flew over a small plane with pilot David Ibbotson, an Englishman, heading to Cardiff after taking off from Nantes. He has just been transferred to the Welsh club, which plays in the Premier League in England after a great French football tour.
