The World Health Organization (WHO) has revealed the types of diseases that cause the most deaths in the world.
From MiamiDiario Editorial
First, we find diseases that cause 7 out of 10 deaths worldwide.
The number of deaths from this type of non-communicable disease is 41 million per year, of which 15 million are in the reproductive age (30 years). Most of this lethal population comes from developing countries.
Impossible diseases include cancer, diabetes, pneumonia, heart disease and stroke. However, the WHO also points to mental health as another factor to be taken into account.
Anxiety and depression are the main conditions of today's companies. Depression itself affects 300 million people, according to the WHO.
"Unusual and sedentary lifestyles, lack of physical exercise, unhealthy diet, smoking, and high consumption of alcoholic beverages have caused the frequency of these deaths." As we can see, there are several risk factors that we can cut down: Citizens have to take care of our health by reducing risk factors, "says Dr. Raúl González Montero, WHO representative.
