On the evening of October 11, the head of the Department of Public Security confirmed to journalists a newspaper, the police investigation agency of the Ministry of Public Security issued a decision to initiate a case against Sai Gon Beer-Alcohol-Beverage Corporation (Sabeco).
The police investigation agency of the Ministry of Public Security therefore prosecuted the accused and applied the ban on leaving home for five people, including Nguyen Huu Tina (61, former Deputy Chairman of the HCMC People's Committee); Dao Anh Kiet (61 years old, former director of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Ho Chi Minh City); Mr. Le Van Thanh (56 years old, Deputy Chief of the HCMC People's Committee); Mr. Nguyen Thanh Chuong (44 years old, Chief of Municipal Authority, HCMC People's Commission) and Mr. Truong Van Ut (Deputy Director of Land Administration of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment, Ho Chi Minh City).

On the same day 10-11, the police investigation agency called on the accused's place of residence to be investigated. Decisions and orders were approved by the Supreme Public Prosecutor.
After the Supreme People's Public Prosecutors issued a decision to approve the above-mentioned procedural decisions, the investigating police of the Ministry of Public Security initiated court proceedings and complied with the provisions of the law.
At present, the Police Investigation Agency of the Ministry of Public Security investigates and expands the case and clarifies all violations of the relevant persons in the relevant Ho Chi Minh City Agencies, the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the General Corporation. Sabeco treat strictly according to the law.
