TORONTO – Alessia Cara suddenly returned to the social media when she said she did not want her comments to be discouraged from interacting with fans.
A 22-year-old singer from Brampton, Ont., Has posted her Twitter account late Wednesday and called her short walk away from the "shortest break in history" platform.
More than a day before, the Grammy-winning pop-artist resigned both from Twitter and Instagram saying she needed "some time off" from the sometimes ominous message sent to her by the strangers.
Her decision was accompanied by screen shots from her Twitter account that show that users criticize her appearance and shoot her angrily.
But Cara ended shortly, which she acknowledged partly because her new album "The Pains of Growing" was due to be released on Friday.
Cara said she did not want her album to be "marked by her sensitivity to hits on my ego," and that it would not be fair to let her fans hang because they "always appeared" to her.
