Apple on Wednesday released the fourth developer beta of MacOS 10.14.2, the upcoming update for Mojave maker owners.
Software that is based on version 18C52a is available through the Apple Developer Portal or other MacOS native software update tool. In both cases, users must be registered with Apple developers and use the correct profile.
It is not yet clear what will happen if some changes are made. Past beta releases did not feature any significant feature changes, indicating that Apple is focusing on bug fixes and security enhancements. The third beta was only shaded two weeks ago.
AppleInsider and Apple itself strongly warns beta users against installing software on "critical" hardware because of the possibility of losing data among other possible problems. Even on secondary hardware, it is recommended that testers perform regular backups of important data.
