3. 7 Interruption of binding

3.7.1.a If there are scores of regular twelve (12) games on the level, four (4) matches are played after the new color draw. The game is played using electronic clocks, starting with 25 minutes for each player with an increment of 10 seconds after each move

3.7.1.b All Transfers are played as follows:

1. The game is governed by the technical regulations of the World Championship (Annex 1) which apply with the exceptions listed in points 2, 3 and 4 below. 2. Players do not need to record any moves. The referee records the moves. 3. The player who has entered may stop the clock and look into the referee's table and if his next move will have a three-fold repeat of the position (according to Article 9.2a of the Technical Regulations) or 50 moves rule (according to Article 9.3a of the Technical Regulations) Scheduled move to the list and request a draw if he wants. A player may also claim a draw in accordance with Articles 9.2b and 9.3b of the Technical Regulations. If the claim is correct, the game is immediately terminated as a draw. If the claim is found to be incorrect, the Referee shall add two (2) minutes to the remaining time of the opponent and the game proceeds with the scheduled move in accordance with Article 4 of the Technical Regulations. Up to two (2) incorrect draws can be made by each player. If a player makes a third (third) incorrect claim, the Referee shall declare a lost game for that player. 4. If the game is terminated by retirement, mother, time loss, heel, triple repetition or by any other means as described in Article 5 of the technical regulations, no irregularity shall be accepted (the discrepancies include the clock setting and all others described in Article 7 of the Technical Regulations).

3.7.2 If game scores are in level 3.7.1a, then after re-plotting the colors are played with 2 games with a time control of 5 minutes plus 3 seconds after each move. In the case of a score level, another 2-game match will be played to determine the winner. If there are still no winners after 5 such games (10 games in total), one game with sudden death is played as described in section 3.7.3 below.

3.7.2.b For Flash games under Article 3.7.2, the sanctions listed in Articles 7 and 9 of Annex 1 "World Championship Technical Regulations" are one (1) minute instead of two (2) minutes.

3.7.3 If the score is still after five matches, as described in Article 3.7.2, players play a game of sudden death. The player who won the draw can choose the color. The player with the white pieces will receive 5 minutes, the player with the black pieces will receive 4 minutes and then after the 60th move the two players will receive an increase of 3 seconds from the beginning of the turn 61. In case of a draw, the player with Black pieces is declared the winner.

3.7.4 There will be a pause of 10 minutes between all matches in breaks unless the Chief Referee decides otherwise.
