Although Apple still confirms the update of their iOS tablet, they exist another sign of updating the iPad& nbsp; rather than later. And that's good news for growing Apple's business.

The latest iPad Mini 5 reports come from Compal, one of the companies that has been intensively involved in making iPad for Apple. It is set for the year of growth and many people believe that there is an ever-increasing demand for a smaller and cheaper iPad. & Nbsp;Mike Wuerthele reports Apple Insider:

Chairman of C.P. Wong told investors at a press conference that the company's wealth is rising. CEO told investors that in 2019 the company expects double-digit growth of "non-PC" shipment, which means iPads and similar devices.

Reinforcing this information is DigiTimes, rightly stating that Compal is generating a lot of revenue from iPad production and Apple Watch production. The publication also provides sources familiar with this issue and claims that the company itself expects this growth in revenue and supply from the iPad's new renewal, which allegedly works in Apple.

Forbes David Phelan has more of the expected hardware, but I expect Apple will be primarily interested in getting the cheapest iPad Mini as many new users as possible. IPad launch events traditionally (but not exclusively) were in mid-March, so it's not long to wait.

Over the past few years, Apple has recorded a more expensive iPad Pro for product launch and marketing – a strategy that was a reflection of moving to iPhones with a higher price on iPhone X, XS and XS Max mobile phones.

Unlike the canceled iPhone SE, the iPad series has an ever cheaper entry model in the Mini iPad. This has not been updated over the years (iPad Mini 4 was launched in 2015), so it's time to either fit into the format or bring a new model to join the market. All characters point to later.

With a cheaper iOS entry level device, Apple can bring people to their cloud-based services and hope to become lifetime users. As the process focuses more on software and service revenues than hardware yields, the cheap iPad Mini raises the user base and average per-user revenue without interfering with the iPhone's premium feel.

And if the cheap iPad Mini reaches its sales target and user data shows it's a useful level of engagement, maybe the chances of the iPhone SE 2 may not be as dead as we were convinced.
